Meet Holly Bliss

Breathwork specialist, Stage of Life Coach
I Found My Calling

From the time I was 2 years old I have been able to “tune in” to what others are feeling, or to know when they need something. As an young adult, I was recognized by my friends and family, and later colleagues at work, as a very intuitive coach—not only a very good listener, but someone who could help them translate their scattered and confused thoughts into highly impactful actions to create a personal breakthrough.

“One of my greatest joys is to see people reach a new level of personal growth and witness their personal breakthroughs.”

As an early confirmation of what my career focus would be, in the third grade I was nominated by my classmates to receive the “human support” award. That still resonates with me today, because my passion and commitment to help others reach their potential has never wavered. My journey might have taken a few turns to finally get here. However, I always knew my calling was to work with people who, for one reason or another, have forgotten how amazing they are; to help them create the permission and space to break free and make their own lives a priority, too.

Over the years as I pursued different careers—ranging from retail sales and nonprofits to real estate—I found that I was highly successful at guiding others by using my intuition to foresee what was needed; my coaching skills to keep things on track and understand the bigger picture; and my communications skills. Time after time these skills kept resonating with people who felt stuck and challenged. Finally, I took the leap and began my journey toward creating what is BEINBLISS today.

Life Coach

I looked for the best way to use my skills, gifts, and passion to help others grow, change, and make personal breakthroughs. I knew that I would need training to move beyond my own experiences. I started my journey by graduating from Simmons College in Boston with a BA in Psychology. Post-graduate work included courses in social work at New York University and Fairfield University.

“I found the psychology and social work approaches too academic and too structured to create the kind of personal connection I knew was needed.”
It focused too much on the problems and the past, not enough on giving people the tools and confidence they need to change.
Breathwork Specialist

Also, depending on the individual or the situation, people may need different ways to get started. This led me to pursue two well developed and powerful approaches—“coaching for transformation” and “breathwork”. While different in their approach, they both enable me to work directly and personally with each client.

At the Open Center in New York City, I received my certification in “Coaching for Transformation,” as well as two certifications in “breathwork” with leading practitioners on the east and west coasts. Used individually or together, I found these approaches provided the basis for personal connection and breakthrough.

As my practice has grown, I have seen the personal breakthroughs that are possible. You can find many of these stories here in the testimonial section.

I have always been able to help people deal with some immediate issue or concern, to help them see their longer-term possibilities.

In my work, I can frequently see my clients’ potential and greatness when they are struggling to bring that into focus.

Outside of Coaching

When I’m not working with clients I find lots of joy, challenge, and adventure in many sports and activities. I love the outdoors, spending time with my husband, friends, family, and our dog. Brie (no, she is not named after the cheese). 🙂  I start each morning with a meditation and gratitude walk with Brie. This quiet time allows me to connect with nature and set an intention for the day.

I love being a kid at play, and I never tire of sunsets and sunrises. I enjoy being out in the mix with friends, hearing live music, or just curled up with a book.
I am always looking for new challenges. I just started playing golf, so no critiquing my swing!

It's time you had a personal breakthrough.

Let’s get to the root of what’s holding you back.
